The Center's physicians are trained in emergency medicine and nursing staff is Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. There is 24-hour laboratory service and specialized radiology testing.

The hospital's new GE CT scanner produces detailed images not produced by ordinary X-ray. A CT scan can rapidly provide 3-D images of various parts of the body: including the brain, teeth/jaw, sinuses, eyes, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, arms and legs. Ultrasound and traditional X-ray are other diagnostic imaging services frequently employed to assess an emergency center patient's condition.

The hospital's CAP accredited 24-hour clinical laboratory, and our echocardiography and cardiopulmonary services are also available to help diagnose and assess trauma and conditions such as heart attack and stroke.

Upon treatment in Emergency, patients are either discharged to home with follow up instructions, if needed, or to the hospital if further acute care is required.
